Prussian Blue

Prussian Blue is a very intense, cool blue. A perfect night sky starting point in landscape painting. Prussian Blue is historically significant as the first modern synthetic pigment and as such is still regarded as a must have by many artists. Its dark intensity and slightly greenish undertone distinguish it from the warmer Ultramarine.
