Naples Yellow Light Pigment
Opaque, lemon yellow pigment.
Chemical description: Lead antimonate (Pb₂Sb₂O₇).
Used since antiquity, prized for its bright yellow tone, good covering power, and stability in oil, tempera, and fresco.
It is relatively lightfast, though less so in acidic or sulphide-rich environments.
